He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew Chekan and Anna Chekan; his children, Paul Chekan (Toni) of Jefferson Hills, PA, Michael Chekan (Dana) of Heidelberg, PA, Gregory Chekan (Anna Marie) of Baldwin, PA and Nicholas Chekan (Dina) of Bristow, VA; his siblings, Edward Chekan, Joseph Chekan, Mary Lou Socher, Andrew Chekan, George Chekan, Margaret Dudas and Anna Marie Hanich; his grandchildren, Nathan, Emily, Alexander, Margot, Jamison, Jonathan and Peter; and his great grandchildren, Julian and Benjamin.
