She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Agnes Gundling Simpson and Augustus "Bert" Albert Simpson Jr.; her spouse Russell Branden Wilson; her children, Fox Connor Wilson, Maxwell Riley Wilson and Jeannette Isabella Wilson; and her siblings, Michael Albert Simpson, Elizabeth "Lisa" Simpson D'Aunoy, Anne Simpson Gunter, Theresa Simpson Stanley and Stephen Augustus Simpson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Kathryn's memory are requested.
