He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley and Dorothy Ellen Acklin (Armstrong); his wife Inez; his sister Colleen Faris; and his nieces, Lois Fleckenstein and Dorothy Faris.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Acklin Litz, Wesley Acklin II and Rodger Acklin. He is also survived by two grandsons; three granddaughters; one great grandson; and a host of extended family and friends.
