He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Keene and Laura Rowe Keene; and his son Robert "Bob" Keene. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Boots" Keene; his daughter-in-law Carla Keene of Abingdon, VA; his siblings, Don Keene (Doris) and Freddie Creed (Harold) of Washington County, VA; his grandchildren, Tyler of Abingdon, VA and Kara Keene of Abingdon, VA; and also Carrie Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
