It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vada Sue Cole (Bristol, Virginia), who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Herndon and Bonnie Herndon; her husband William Edward Lee "Snook" Cole; her son Mark Edward Cole; and her brothers, Donald, Haskell, Jerry and Billy Herndon.
She is survived by: her sons, Eric L. Cole (Deanna) and Jody L. Cole (Miranda); her grandchildren, Alexander Lee Cole, Ansleigh Noelle Cole, Kyler Grant Cole and Caitie Grace Cole; her siblings, Larry Herndon (Francis) and Carol Leonard; and her aunt Ruth Farmer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Damascus Road Baptist Church (18844 Jen Stuart Hwy Abingdon, VA 24211).
