He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert and Earlene Thomas Huggins. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Huggins; his children, Rachel Shuttle (Chris), David Huggins, Walker Huggins (Rebecca) and Jordan Huggins; his grandchildren, Althea, Phoebe, Damian, Nate, Waylon, Luke, James and Philip; his great grandchild Brantley; and his brothers, Larry Huggins, Ed Huggins (Chris) and Andy Huggins (Tove). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
