It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Andrew Abelseth (Bristol, Virginia), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Everett and Elizabeth Foster Abelseth; his siblings, Margaret Abelseth, Frank Abelseth and Fred Abelseth; and his close friend John.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hicks Abelseth; his children, Teresa Cox and Thomas Andrew Abelseth, Jr. (Penny); and his brother Samuel Ray Abelseth (Rose). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
