She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph James and Ruby Cole Rosenbaum; and her husband Clarence Black. She is survived by: her daughters, Lorie Black, Angela Black and Tina Shaffer; her sisters, Lois Pickle and Mary Price; her grandsons, Tyler Black and Michael Shaffer (Katrina); her great grandchild John-Michael Christian Shaffer; and her close friend Dale Warrick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to American Heart Association.
