With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Gene Quillin of Bristol, Virginia, born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Ersel Elswick; and her son John Martin Quillin (Marty). She is survived by: her mother Fay Reese Elswick of Shelbiana, KY; her husband John Lewis Quillin; her daughter Kathryn Quillin Rich (Steve) of Greenville, SC; and her siblings, Jim Elswick (Glenda) of South Port, NC, Bill Elswick (Nancy) of Shelbiana, KY and Janice Davis (Doug) of Dry Fork, VA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, along with a brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions be sent to Ballad Hospice (509 Med Tech Parkway Johnson City, TN 37604).
