He is survived by: his wife Mitzi Pruitt Hill; his brother David Hill, Sr. (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Pamela Pruitt Bartley (Randall) and James Pruitt, Jr. (Cathy); his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Hackworth, Jayme Pruitt, Pamela Wampler, Alice Hill, David Hill, Jr., Greg Hill and Austin Bartley; and his brothers, Alan Moore (Slim), Gary McCray (Mod), Rob Francisco, Danny Ryan (Mayor), Allen McVey (Slick), Joe Puckett (Joe Rob), Bill Neese, Danny Broyles, Bill Campbell, Randy Hardin (Redbone), Mike Wagner (Dude), Gary Thompson, Frank Childress, Ric Burnette, Brian Caraway, Randy Waddell and Johnny Steadman.
