It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Jo Hopkins Shaw of Bristol, Virginia, born in Meadowview, Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hopkins and Martha Hopkins; her husband Samuel Shaw, III; and her sisters, Betty Burke and Patsy Hushour.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shelby Peak (Vaughn) of Irving, TX and Cathie Klassen (Kirk) of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Mackensie Woods (Derek), Kirsten and Clark Klassen; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Brady, Deke and Bellamy Woods; and her siblings, Peggy Dowell, Hazel Thomas, Margaret Garrett (Lynnwood), Helen Hockett (Leo) and Jimmy Hopkins (Cindy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
