He is survived by: his wife Janet Meade; his children, Jimmy Meade, Darlene Herndon (Keith), Sandy Shumate (Dale) and Amy Leek (Jason); his siblings, Shirley Johnson (Gil) and David Meade (Joyce); his grandchildren, Celeste Meade, Christy Herndon, Justin Duty, Mandy Herndon, Lyndsy and Lacy Leek; and his great grandchildren, Skylar Rhea and McKenna Meade.
