He was predeceased by: his parent Linnie Mae Parris; and his siblings, Mattie Louise Boykin and Bobby Gene Parris. He is survived by: his girlfriend Gaynell Sargent; his daughter Misty Dawn Parris; his siblings, Margaret Ann Toon, Martha Jane Buskill, Mary Elizabeth Parris, Opal Lorrian Nelson, Russell Blevins and Luther Franklin Parris; his granddaughters, Cora Gurr and Eden Gurr; and his close friends, Doug, Lynn Dehart, Brady and Angie Ball. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the VA Hospital or to any veterans association in memory of Ron.
