With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Payton Slaughter Jr. (Bristol, Virginia), who passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Payton Slaughter, Sr.; and his wife Verla Ruth White Slaughter. He is survived by: his son Ralph Payton Slaughter, III (Leah Faye Sharp); his stepdaughter Christie Smith (Frank); his adoptive children, Sierra Lester (Cecil), Arielle Slaughter (Kyle McPherson), Christopher Slaughter and Shirley Ann Daugherty; and his siblings, Carol Cross and Jim Slaughter (Terry). He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
