He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Mitchell and Panna Ruth Casteel Blevins; his wife Vicky Lynn Blevins; and his siblings, Lonnie, Alan, Palmer Blevins and Beulah Hamm.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ester Shepard, Shirley Hamilton, Judy Berry, David Blevins and Bill Blevins; and his stepson Stephen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
