He was predeceased by: his parents, George Braxton Jackson and Norma "Polly" Mumpower Jackson Dickson; and his stepfather Willard B. "Jack" Dickson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Ratliff Jackson; his daughter Wendy Dillon (Jearl); his adoptive daughter Nikki Taylor (Bubba); his grandchildren, Jacob, Gabe (Megan), Katey and Clay; his great grandchild Arwen; his siblings, Ruth Ann Hurley (Ronnie) and Steve Jackson (Sandy); his sisters-in-law, Diana Wampler, Debra Sutherland and Susan Ball (Emmett); his nieces and nephews, Lee Ann Shearon (Brian), Lindsey Jannaman (Will), Hayley McRae (Donal), Brian Wampler (Meredith), Brandon Ratliff (Lee) and Derek Sutherland; and his friends, Charlie Jones and Mark Waddell. He is also survived by four great nieces; seven great nephews.
