He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Salyer; his parents, Vince Salyer and Alice Salyer; and his siblings, Arthur Salyer, Arvil Salyer, Louise Osborne and Mary Sue Herndon.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa (Gary Baker), Randy and Melisa Salyer Jackson; his granddaughter Whitney Jackson; and his sister Nancy Price. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
