It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Jannette Austin McElyea (Bristol, Virginia), born in Bristol, Tennessee, who passed away on December 17, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Austin and Bertha Fleenor Austin; her husband Benny Frank McElyea; her son Charles "Chuckey" Robert Mann; and her siblings, Fredrick Ernest Austin, Charles Edward Austin and Debra "Debbie" Sue Austin.
She is survived by: her children, James Michael Mann, Donald Lynn Mann (Kathy) and Pamela McElyea Perry (Jeff); her grandchildren, Madison Grace Perry, Lindsey Michelle Mann, Austin Matthew Mann and Marlene Grace Mann; her great grandchild Blakely Madison Roberts; and her siblings, Linda Lingerfelt (Billy), Laverne Dancy (Sonny), Sandra Eads (Preston) and Hugh Austin (Cheryl). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
