She was predeceased by: her parents, George Denton and Ida Mae Shaffer Denton; her husband Eugene Sproles; and her siblings, Mary Crosswhite, Ruth Fleenor, Eva Lee Brooks, Goldie Sproles and Avery Denton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
