She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Kirby and Ella Mae Moretz Kirby; her former husbands, Robert J. Mottern, Jr. and Charles Vickers; and her siblings, Charles Kirby and Betty Jo Kirby.

She is survived by: her children, Robert J. Mottern, III and Cindy Mottern; her grandchildren, Nathan Mottern (Sara) of Johnson City, TN, Josh Lauman and Lindsey Lauman of Bristol, TN; and her great grandchild Averie Mottern. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
