She was predeceased by: her father Randy Cox; her stepfather Ed Hayden; her close friend Joey Woltz; and her grandfather Luther Worley. She is survived by: her mother Betty Hayden; her husband Michael Dear; her sons, Tanner Dear (Kiara McManama) and Bradley Dear; her siblings, Aimee Cox, Brad Cox and Joshua Cox; her granddaughter Ny'arah Dear; her nieces and nephews, Anthony Cox, Auden Cox, Jonah Harless, Carrington Cox and Erington Cox; and her great-niece Makenna Jackson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of his or her choosing in Misty's honor.
