She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen B Spitdowski and Ray Spitdowski; her stepfather William Bender; and her siblings, Ray, Howard Spitdowski, Gladys Penny, Dorothy Giaimo, Dena Wages and Ellen Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Deon Turner; her son James Todd Turner; her granddaughters, Thalyta Tuner and Raven Turner; and her siblings, Ruth Bunkley, Martha Spitdowski, Ann Church (Billy) and Paul David (Janet). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Soul's Harbor Church (1770 Bonham Road Bristol, VA 24201).
