He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Louis Kovacs and Lee Kovacs; and his brother Mark Kovacs. He is survived by: his wife Kay Kovacs; his children, Meredith Barlow (Jason), Kathryn Waddle (Brian) and Kevin (Summer); his grandchildren, Thomas Barlow (Hannah Arnold), Josh Barlow (Makenzie Sheets), Nathan Barlow, Ava Waddle, Abram Waddle, Georgia Waddle, Ellyson Kovacs, Hudson Kovacs and Stella Kovacs; his nieces, Amy Kovacs Sweet, LindaKay Kovacs of California, Katy Kovacs of Texas and Mary Lou Sokolow of Knoxville; and his friends, David and Jerri Lively of Bristol, Virgina.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a youth organization of your choice in memory of Mike Kovacs.
