It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Allen Hooton (Bristol, Virginia), born in Logansport, Indiana, who passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Carl Frederick Hooton; and his sister Mary Long. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hooton of Bristol, Tenn.; his children, Rachel Carr (Rockie) of Bristol, John Hooton (Candy) of Hopkinsville, KY, James Hooton (Amy) of Bristol, Hannah Hooton of Bristol, Elizabeth Pauley (Steven) of Bristol, Naomi Bickmore (Jared) of Glade Spring, Joel Hooton of Bristol, Jeremiah Hooton of Bristol and Jedidiah Hooton of Bristol, Tenn.; his mother Barbara Schidler; his sister Martha Hooton of Logansport; his son Steve; his son-in-law Rockie; and his grandson Matthew.
