She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe W. Ramsey and Fronia Ramsey; her husband Carter Combs; her daughter Mildred Faye Mullins; her siblings, Gene Ramsey, J. D. Ramsey, Minnie DiGiovanni, Marie Burger and Mildred Miller; and her stepfather Ed Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Joe Asbury (Paula) of Cedar Bluff, Virginia and Tammy Phillips (Richard) of Trammel, Virginia; her sisters, Betty Duncan of Castlewood, Virginia, Margaret Bradley (Ray) of Castlewood, Virginia, Stella Long of Castlewood, Virginia and Linda Trent (Gary) of Castlewood, Virginia; her grandchildren, Kimberly Aja (Curt Hale) of Caney Ridge, Marlee Asbury (Brandon Harrison) of Bulls Gap, Victoria Honaker (Shannon) of West Virginia, Jackson Phillips of Trammel, Virginia and Cossie Phillips of Trammel, Virginia; and her great grandchild Adrianna Shearl. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
