He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dickerson Mitchell of Bristol; his mother Marilyn Cruise of Abingdon; his siblings, Jim Mitchell (Cathy) of Radford, Barbara Dotson (Archie) of Abingdon and Rita Broome (Jamie) of Paducah; and also Richard Williams of Abingdon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
