She was predeceased by: her father Richard Cumming Chinchen; her husband Donald C. Klahn Sr.; her siblings, Joyce Naglich and Jim Chinchen; her niece Betty Jo Davis; her grandson Brian Michael Gilmer; and her son-in-law Randall Gilmer.
She is survived by: her children, Donald C. Klahn Jr. (Laurie), Jean Reyes (Ralph), Lois Gilmer, Ann Surber and James Klahn (Barbara); her grandchildren, Ashley Doyle (Casino), Kelly Klahn (Rob), Stacy Grigsby (Justin), Rachel Defino (Thomas), Richard Hill (Carolyn), Melanie Hardin (Tanner), Daniel Surber (Iviy), Stephen Klahn and Jared Whitaker; her sister-in-law Dorothy Rebescher; and her close friends, Ernie Gross and Amy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Marlene.
