He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Martin Sr. and Eula Martin. He is survived by: his wife Flo Martin; his children, Paula Howington (Larry Howington), Tim Martin (Melinda Martin) and Joel Martin; his grandchildren, Jennifer Drumright, Chris Howington (Holly), Stephanie Hinson (Paul), Kim Weaver (Robert), Rebecca Kovach (Chris), Baker Martin (Abbey), Baxter Martin and Brooke Martin; and his brother Stanley Martin. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Midway Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
