She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burchett and Dora Burchett; and her brother Bernard Rakes (Wanda Rakes). She is survived by: her husband J. D. Nicewonder; her children, Carolyn Nicewonder Beverly (Frank Beverly, Jr.) of Barboursville, Virginia, Sherry Nicewonder, Nicholas Ozioli of McLean, Virginia and Mark Nicewonder of Miami, Florida; and her caregivers, Lorraine, Andrea, Angie, Anna, Carol, Diane, Donna, Hazelle, Jaqueline, Kem, Laura, Libby, Lisa, Mary, Mickie, Pam, Rachel, Sherrilynn, Sierra and Teresa. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandnephews, and grandnieces.
