She is survived by: her husband Randy Rouse; her children, Dave Childress (Trish Dean) of Meadowview, VA, Timothy Childress (Sarah) of Saltville, VA and Malorie Childress of Bristol, VA; her stepsons, Chris, Bryan and Skyler Rouse of Bristol, VA; her father-in-law Andy "Bud" Rouse; her siblings, Michael Groves of Pittsburg, PA and Donna McNew Spriggs (Bobby) of Abingdon, VA; her grandchildren, Skyler Childress, Jayson Childress and James Dean; her nephew Jonathan McNew (Alisha) of Meadowview, VA.; her close friends, Jennifer Dingus Cox, Andrew Eastridge (Jennifer) and Junior Campbell; her cousins, Aprill, Billy and Emily Sprivey; and also Marilyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Community Baptist Church (1505 Broad St, Bristol, TN 37620). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
