He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pyatte and Minnie Pyatte; his wife Barbara Pyatte; his son David Pyatte; and his siblings, JW Pyatte, Anna Jenkins and Virginia Debusk.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Pyatte and Scott Pyatte (Tammy). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
