It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lois Yvonne Lee Payne of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 82, on June 4, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ballard Pearson, Sr. and Lottie H. Lee; her husband James Otis Payne; and her siblings, Lincoln Lee, Ballard Lee, Jr., Thomas Lee, Robert Lee, Carrie Lee, Mary Charles Foote and Shirley Worley.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Raphael Cansler (Willie), Valerie Fugate, Charlotte Cansler-Stanton and Denise Wagner (Lee); her grandchildren, Coretta Morton, Christopher (Adrienne Cansler), Michael (Desmond Fugate), Allegera Stanton and Bryan (Aleah Wagner); her great grandchildren, Aisha Morton, Chris, Caleb and Makaila Wagner; and her sisters-in-law, Era and Jeannie Lee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter St. #150, Charlotte, NC 28204 .
