She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Canter and Gladys Canter; her husband Sargent Carnell Cross Sr.; and her grandmother Lynette Nash. She is survived by: her sons, Sargent Carnell Cross Jr. (Bernice Wheeler) and Joseph Cross; her brothers, Floyd Gary Canter and Denny Wayne Canter (Mary Canter); and her grandson Isaac Cross.
