It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Carlton Pennington in Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Carlton and Pauline Carlton. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Pennington of Marion; her children, Amy Kennedy (Jim) of Oak Ridge, Tenn. and Michael Pennington (Amanda) of Abingdon; her siblings, Carol Eggleston of Rotunda, Fla., Nancy Stephens (Ken) of Watertown, Tenn., Art Carlton of O'Brein, Fla., Ronnie Carlton (Sharon) of Lutz, Fla. and Larry Carlton (Trish) of Abingdon; her granddaughters, Carrie, Katie and Hailey Thompson; her close friends, Steve, Lisa Akers, Michelle Debord and Bookie Edwards; her pet Winston; and also, Lilly of Marion and Jack of Marion. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
