It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Elizabeth Mitchell in Bristol, Virginia, born in Mount Dora, Florida, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Black and Helen Hall Black; her son Richard D. Mitchell; and her siblings, Mary Bird, Joe, Bill and Larry Black.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. "Bob" Mitchell; her daughter Robin Smith (Dana) of Abingdon; her siblings, Nita Painter of Galion, OH and John Black of Madison, WI; and her grandchildren, Richard Andrew Mitchell (Rose), Bobbi Villareal (Gabe), Emily Smith (Matt Bettis), Julie Langston (Drew), Audrey Wilkinson (John Riley) and Yenesew Smith. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
