She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford, Sr. Simcox and Ora McClure Simcox; her husband Carl Joseph "Joe" Holdren; her daughter Melissa Holdren; her brother Clifford Simcox, Jr.; and her nephew Randy Strouth.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Ruble (Bryant) and Carolyn Dingus (Darren); her grandson Kyle Dingus; her siblings, Karen Strouth and Tim Simcox; her sister-in-law Linda Simcox; and her labradoodle Molly. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to East Bristol Church of Christ, 340 Bonham Road, Bristol, VA, 24201.
