She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sledge and Josephine Johnson Sledge; her husband Thomas Edward Tully, Sr.; her son Thomas Edward Tully, Jr.; her brother Dr. John Sledge; and her cousin Dell Millar.
She is survived by: her son Greg Tully; her nephews, John Sledge, III, Robert Sledge, Bill Sledge and Joe Sledge; and her cousins, Judy and Ruthie Millar.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to State Street United Methodist Church, 650 Valley Drive, Bristol, VA 24201 in memory of Josephine.
