He was predeceased by: his parents, John Minnick and Mary Minnick; and his sisters, Millie Elaine and Jennifer Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Minnick; his children, Brian Minnick (Heather) of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Zachary Howell of Bristol, Virginia and Amie Huffman (Shawn Potter) of Abingdon, Virginia; his brother Dennis "Tim" Minnick of Bluefield; his brother-in-law Todd Eastridge of Bristol, Virginia; his sisters, Barbara Waddell (Curtis) of Meadowview, Virginia and Laryssa Turley (Wayne) of Abingdon, Virginia; and his grandsons, Cody, Christian and Caleb Minnick of Saint Simons Island. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
