As Joan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Rowe and Opal Shortridge Rowe. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Jamison; her daughters, Shelley Stout (Rodney) and Maretta Henegar (Paul); her grandson Jordon Stout; and her siblings, Chester Rowe (Fonda), John Rowe and Charlene Jessee (James).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
