He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Robert Lee Powers; his brothers, Tivis Charlie Powers and Ernest Leon Powers; his stepdaughter Belinda Monroe; his wife Elane Arnold Powers; his mother Martha Powers; his siblings, Tommy Powers (Marilyn) and Rita Snyder (Brian); his siblings-in-law, R. V. Arnold and Louise Rash; his stepgrandson John Mark Monroe (Lisa); and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Charlie Monroe. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
