She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Earl and Dolores Farmer Baker. She is survived by: her children, Robert Starland Mullins (Lynn) of Richmond, VA, Richard Darrell Mullins (Karen) of Bristol, VA and Regina Dolores Mullins (David Guthrie) of Magnolia Springs, AL; her stepdaughter Brenda Gail Shortt of Alexandria, VA; her siblings, Kermit Doyle Baker (Donna) of Baltimore, MD and Etta Baker Petit (Hylton) of New Orleans, LA; her grandchildren, Brooke Cuddy (Bob), Caitlin Davis (Michael), Erin Jarrell (Byron) and Benjamin Mullins (Jenny); and her great grandchildren, Beau Mullins and Laurelai Cuddy.

Jerlene requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church of Bristol, 1741 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, VA 24201, or to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, http://www.heart.org.
