He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey A. Allison, Sr. and Ida Dye Allison; and his siblings, Lila Marion (Don), Dewey A. Allison, Jr. and Joseph Allen Allison.

He is survived by: his wife Robin Tignor Allison; his son Chance Allison; his stepchildren, Telena Carr and Eric Carr; his grandchildren, Laiken Lane and Kaiden Swick; his siblings, Joyce A. Kistner (Kenneth), Nadine A. Johnson (Larry), Melva A. Deckard (Jimmy) and Sam W. Allison; his sisters-in-law, Joyce Stitt Allison and Carolyn V. Allison; his nieces, Rene Carter Whitesell and Cinda Carter; and his nephew Frank Carter.
