He was predeceased by: his parents, Berkley Surber and Lucille Blevins Surber. He is survived by: his wife Patty Wright Surber; his sons, Jason Surber (Brandy) of Bristol, TN and Wesley Surber of Knoxville, TN; his brother Fred Surber (Geneda) of Bristol, VA; and his granddaughter Jordan Surber. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
