He is survived by: his wife Marie Rather Maiden; his children, Stephanie Zohorsky and James W. Maiden, III; his sister Annie Laurie James; and his grandchildren, Katie Shubert, Christina De Marco, Andrew Zohorsky, Derek Maiden and Emily Maiden. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
