It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Murray of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Johnny Allen Murray (Melissa) and Angela Henderson (Tyler); his siblings, Elvis Scottie Murray and Sally; his niece Denise Iman; his nephew George Murray; his caregiver Sherrie Gatliff; his partner Lynn Hamm; and his caregiver Ashley. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the Murray requests that donations in John's name be made to Mountain Home VA Hospital.
