James M. Duncan Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2020, at the age of 93, James M. Duncan Sr. of Bristol, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Franklin and Allie Charity Holmes Duncan; his wife Ella Mae Thomas Duncan; and his siblings, Frank Duncan, Jr., Beulah Estep, Vera Golden and Lois Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Duncan, James "Jim" Merriel Duncan, Jr. and Rhonda Neese (Wayne); his grandchildren, Alyson Brown (Aaron), Ashley Neese (Curtis Baumgardner), Adam Duncan (Monica), Amy Menerick (Chris) and Mark Alan Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Drew, Graysen, Harper, Grant, Laura Lee, Cleo, Julia and Ella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the DAV Chapter 39, 630 Carden Hollow Rd. Bristol, TN 37620.
