He was predeceased by: his father James Guy McLynn Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Carol Howell Broyles; his daughter Devon Nicole Broyles; his granddaughter Rylee Broyles; his brothers, Roy Broyles (Pat) and Lewis Broyles (Sheila); and his close friends, Tania Williams and Tony Slagle (Rhonda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the family to aid with funeral and medical expenses.
