He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Leonard (Edward) of Vansant and Selena Buckles (Jackie Poston) of Abingdon; his sister Bonnie Lester of Abingdon; his grandchildren, Summer Rhodes (Warren) of Richmond and Stevie Prater (Jason) of Greensboro, Penn.; his great grandchild Miles Edward Prater; and his nephew Terry Endicott (Barbara) of Blacksburg, S. C..
