He was predeceased by: his parent John Vanhook. He is survived by: his parent Ruby Moore Vanhook; his wife Elizabeth Vanhook; his children, Diane Phillips and Jack Vanhook, Jr.; and his sisters, Dot Hensley and Violet Kilby. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be sent to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
