With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hobert Cody Pope of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Pope and Roxy Pope; and his wife Edith Pope. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Pope and Angela Pope; his grandchildren, Lacodya Williams, Katelynn Williams, Hannah Oliver, Mabel Olson, Kayleigh Harris and Kylie Harris; his great grandchild Annalise Collins; his siblings, Dortha Steele and Sheridan Pope; and his sister-in-law Wanda Lunsford. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Hobert.
